The story behind Saol.ai
Like most people in tech, I got excited about AI. I started using it — for work, for thinking through decisions, for trying to understand myself and my situation better.
Then I noticed what I was doing. Every conversation, every "tell me about my problem" message was a data dump. My name. Work. Family details. My goals. My struggles. All of it, poured into systems with no visibility into what happened to it after.
I didn't like that. I wanted AI that actually knew me — my personality, how I think, what drives me, my strengths and blind spots — without holding a file with my real identity attached to it.
So I started building it.
Saol.ai (Gaelic for "life") connects your personality profile to AI chat in a way that's as private as current technology allows. Your profile lives separately from your identity. The AI gets real context — your persona type, your scores, your motivations — without getting your name, work info, or anything that identifies you as a real person.
We're early-stage. We're a small team (1). But we're building something I think genuinely should exist: AI that helps you succeed — focused on you, not your data.
